What does it look like in device manager? Do you have any issues? What are your temps at idle (doing nothing) and at load (benchmarking or heavy/intensive game play)? Have you checked for in system file corruption or missing files by running (sfc /scannow) from cmd prompt or powershell? Swapped M.2 SSDs in between installs to rule out issues with SSD. Used 'WhoCrashed' program to analyze crash dumps, apparently not crash dumps are available. Checked Event Viewer leading up to the crash only some DCOM warnings and RPC Events. Complete clean re-install of Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit. Seems to only have been an issue in the past few months with recent Windows updates. I had a call on Teams with a coworker and my computer crashed, I could hear him still speaking, but he could not hear me.ĮventViewer shows nothing but DCOM warnings up until the "crash". The only way to clear this is to hard reset it by holding the power button. The start menu can be opened, but clicking on restart does nothing and changes the cursor to a loading cursor. Attempting to close windows or restart the computer does nothing. The computer begins to lock up (if I'm watching YouTube the video will begin skipping), I can still interact with the computer (move mouse, move windows around, type in fields), but anything in the taskbar will be frozen. Sometimes it will happen twice in a day, sometimes once a week. I have a custom-built computer, and lately have been experiencing a weird freezing issue that typically happens randomly.
